Juan Rodríguez Pérez

Juan Rodríguez Pérez was born Sauce, Peru in 1952 in the middle of the Peruvian Amazon. He moved to Lima to study sociology at the National University of San Marcos. where he took root and remained. He continues to write novels, mostly of short stories, such as Historia de amor desesperado, La perla del Huallaga, La sonrisa de Mariana, La viejita que hacía temblar a la lluvia, Sanguaza, La tierra de los demonios, and Mujer de los viejos caminos, and Una casa junto al río, among others.
